Let’s start this by giving credit to Edmund Burke who is credited with the above quote. After all, we don’t want to be mistaken for ROBINETTE and be accused of plagiarism.

With that said…

Congressional democrats seem to have a selective memory and refuse to learn from history.

The last two Democrat POTUS’ (Obama & Clinton) both had majorities in the Senate & the House during the first 2 years of their first term in the White House.

Both of those men misread the political tea leaves during those first couple of years and decided to ram through a left wing radical agenda. The result was absolute annihilation when the midterm elections rolled around. In fact, Obama presided over the biggest loss ever, losing over 1000 Democrat seats from local to state to federal levels.

Fast forward to today, instead of learning from the lessons that both Clinton and Obama learned in addition to the shellacking they took this past Tuesday in Virginia, Seattle, Minneapolis, Buffalo, Long Island in addition to many other outcomes not to mention the dogfight Phil Murphy had in New Jersey, congressional democrats are now trying to push their radical and extreme bills without the requisite 72 hours needed for congressional members to read the bill and without a score from the Congressional Budget Office (CBO).

Once again, congressional Democrats are misreading the political tea leaves.
Then again, maybe they are not misreading and maybe they have accepted the fact that they are going to lose their majorities in the 2022 midterms and want to force feed the American people their Socialist, Marxist, Bolshevik, Progressive and Woke agenda.

Either way, congressional Democrats are out of touch, refuse to acknowledge the political headwinds and seem to only want to cater to the extreme faction of their own party which is merely a small sliver that makes up the overall membership of both the Senate and the House.

Maybe the Democrats pursuit of these extreme and radical positions could help the GOP win enough seats during the 2022 midterms that gives them super majorities for at least a couple of decades which would basically scuttle the Democrats turbo charged march towards Venezuela like socialism.

No wonder Democrats don’t like history and want to erase it. History is not littered with moments, actions and events that is kind to the democrats…FACTS.

The GOP is sitting in an advantageous position if political history is a predictor of future events.
